A multi-specialty practice in Orange County is currently seeking a Rheumatologist for a promising opportunity with their growing team. About the Opportunity:

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (No call)

Hours:

8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) Setting:
Outpatient Responsibilities:
The Rheumatologist will be responsible for:
Diagnosing various endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid disorders (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism), adrenal disorders (Cushing's syndrome, Addison's disease), pituitary disorders, metabolic disorders, and more Developing treatment Review patient's history and perform physical examination Evaluate, diagnose and provide appropriate treatment and patient care Recommend and order lab tests including X-rays of the joints to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition Diagnose disorders and diseases of the musculoskeletal system and immune system Diagnose and treat rheumatic disorders of the skeletal system, muscles and joints Treat patients with rheumatic diseases including, but not limited to lupus, tendonitis, arthritis, myositis, scleroderma, and osteoporosis Prescribe anti-inflammatory drugs and other medications Formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans Refer to occupational or physical therapy as required.

Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings

Qualifications:
