Job OverviewThis Product Manager role is an entry‑level full‑time position supporting the Connected Living Solutions Business Unit – LPC sub‑vertical’s Product Management team. This role provides critical analytical, operational, and administrative support while developing foundational product management skills. The position offers hands‑on experience in financial analysis, market research, cross‑functional collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Product Manager in this role is a prime candidate for advancement opportunities within the function.
- Research and compile market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Assist in gathering marketplace requirements to guide future product evolution.
- Support competitive analysis and benchmarking activities.
- Help gather customer and distributor feedback (VOC) for the product management team.
- Develop and build comprehensive product training decks for sales teams and channel partners.
- Create educational materials that effectively communicate product value propositions and technical specifications.
- Support business aspects of New Product Introduction (NPI) and sustaining projects.
- Help ensure data completeness at the launch of new products and close portfolio data gaps.
- Support APM (Active Portfolio Management) initiatives to reduce unneeded portfolio complexity.
- Maintain updated training content reflecting product updates and market changes.
- Support metric tracking, including bookings, billings, standard margin, and new product sales.
- Help track progress against business plans and support gap mitigation strategies.
- Support GPM in product cost and gross margin analysis to drive competitive advantage.
- Assist in strategic pricing initiatives and optimization programs.
- Contribute to the S&OP demand forecasting process and forecast accuracy initiatives.
Help resolve product and customer escalations (delivery, quality, inventory), creating capacity for the Product Management team’s interaction with customers and execution of strategy. - Support TEOA (TE Operating Advantage) advancement initiatives.
- Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement ideas across product management processes.
- Certify as a Kaizen facilitator and host continuous improvement workshops.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 0–3 years of product management, business analysis, or related experience.
- Interest in market strategy development and execution.
- Basic understanding of new product development processes.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong competency in Microsoft Office’s Excel and PowerPoint.
- Internship or co‑op experience in product management or related field.
- Basic knowledge of competitive analysis and market research.
- Basic knowledge and interest in Lean or process improvement concepts.

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $82,000 – $102,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits.
