RF and Microwave Design Engineer

NuWaves RF Solutions is seeking a qualified RF and Microwave Design Engineer to join our team and support DoD projects, ultimately contributing to U.S. military capabilities.

This position provides the opportunity to apply expertise in RF and Microwave (MW) engineering to support NuWaves’ primarily DoD projects. You’ll be able to increase knowledge, grow leadership skills, and continuously improve the business system.

NuWaves, a premier supplier of RF and Microwave System and Subsystems, is actively seeking talented and highly motivated RF and MW Design Engineers with 2 to 6 years of experience in RF and Microwave circuit design. Candidates must have knowledge of RF/MW circuits that include power amplifiers through C‑Band, RF up converters and down converters, RF filters, and low‑noise amplifiers. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical writing skills.

• Work within an integrated product team assisting in the design of NuWaves’ product development. Lead the design of high‑performance RF circuitry within 12 months.
• Write system and sub‑system requirements of non‑complex RF/MW systems. Capable of deriving the requirements within 18 months.
• Support the writing of technical proposals, status reports, whitepapers, and other technical papers within 4 months.
• Generate a working understanding of NuWaves’ business system within 60 days, with the goal of contributing to system improvements thereafter. This includes understanding the company strategy and working within NuWaves’ Quality Management System.

Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or related field and 2–6 years RF design experience.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• 2–6 years of RF design experience.
• Strong knowledge of RF/MW circuits (power amplifiers, up/down converters, filters, low‑noise amplifiers).
• Strong technical writing skills.
