Support Associate - Front Office (Oncology)
Summary: The Front Office Support Associate provides support to all functions within the medical office. Duties include answering and routing incoming calls, patient check‑in and check‑out, collecting co‑payments and deductibles, updating patient demographic information, scheduling appointments, pulling, filing and scanning medical records, and performing various administrative tasks as required.
ScheduleDay: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm. No evenings, weekends, or holidays.

- Answer and route incoming calls
- Obtain, verify, and update patient demographic information
- Collect and record co‑payments and/or deductibles
- Verify charts contain all necessary paperwork
- Schedule return appointments, as required
- Scan medical records for EMR as needed or requested
- Ensure patient waiting area is free from trash and clutter
- Assist other office support positions as needed or requested

- Perform other duties as assigned
High School Diploma or GED. At least one (1) year of previous experience working in a medical office or administrative position; 2–3 years preferred.
General Skill Requirements- Excellent oral and written communication
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience working with a Practice Management system
- Attendance and punctuality are essential to provide excellent customer service
