Responsibilities
- Assists Director in supervising and directing nursing care and all related activities of the service. Assures maintenance of the environment of care and all applicable standards/policies (e.g. AMC policies, procedures and standards of care, OSHA, ODH, JCAHO, Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (ODBH) and other accrediting bodies). Utilizes principles of the nursing process in providing care for patients. Builds and develops the patient care team using staff personnel, assistance to physicians, material and equipment, education of personnel and administrative duties.
Serves as chief retention and recruitment leader of the unit. Accountable to the organization to understand and support the hospital’s mission, visions and values.
- Full time/80 hours per pay. Days.

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing - Preferred educational qualifications: N/A

- Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Valid Nursing License in the State of Ohio
- Current CPR at time of hire.
- Certification in area of specialty/expertise preferred.
- AVADE certification required within 1st 90 days in position.

Minimum of four years hospital experience in pertinent clinical specialty (inpatient or outpatient behavioral health only) and 2-3 years in leadership/management/charge role preferred. - Other experience requirements: N/A
- Require continuing education in leadership as evidenced by attending leadership management topics. Excellent clinical, time management, communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills required. Proven skill in leadership, care management, and performance improvement required. Computer skills (programming and keyboarding) required.
