Job Summary: As a Machinist, you will be at the heart of our operations, responsible for machining ferrous and non‑ferrous materials within tolerance specifications. You will interpret instructions and blueprints and operate a range of equipment including manual and CNC lathes and mills, horizontal and vertical boring mills, horizontal saws, overhead cranes, forklifts, and more.

Hours: Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am‑3:30 pm

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  3‑5 years of machine shop experience, ideally in a hydraulics industry setting; experience in other industries will also be considered.
• Skills:
  
  Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and indicators. CNC and manual tooling experience required.
• Attributes:
  Strong attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. lift/carry and 50 lb pull.
• Repetitive motions: frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Dexterity: normal.
• Frequent standing/sitting up and down stairs.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Noise level: moderate to loud in many situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
