Industrial Cleaner

MPS Group, Inc. is seeking multiple Industrial Cleaners to join our team at the Cleveland Cliffs facility located in Middletown, OH
. These individuals will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient industrial environment by performing a variety of cleaning and support tasks. Success in this position means contributing to the overall safety and productivity of the facility while upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: 6:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday through Friday

• Collect and dispose of trash and debris throughout the facility to maintain a clean and orderly environment.
• Utilize manual tools and equipment (such as shovels, scrapers, rakes, squeegees, brooms, mops, etc.) and a variety of cleaning supplies (including scrub pads, rags, tack cloths, brushes, etc.) to achieve cleaning objectives in diverse industrial work areas as directed.
• Operate powered industrial equipment as assigned (such as sweeper/scrubbers, industrial carts, burden carriers, fork trucks, etc.) to support facility cleanliness and operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the needs of the facility and team.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety requirements and procedures while on the job, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 10 certification is mandatory prior to hire (may be obtained through company-sponsored program).
• Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods and reach within 6" of the ground.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs as needed.
• Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and in extreme temperature conditions.
• Manual dexterity sufficient for use of small hand tools, handling small parts (e.g., nuts/bolts), and working with hands in various positions (overhead, front, low).
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and physical.

• Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
