Description
Job Title: Warehouse Associate I
Shift: 1st shift (8am to 4pm)
Pay: $18.50
Location: Middletown, OH
Job Summary:
The warehouse associate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, put-away, relocate, and stack in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Warehouse Associates will conduct themselves in an appropriate and professional manner at all times with all employees and outside services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Experience working in a warehouse environment (Order selecting, picking, product storage, product staging)
- Working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically, etc.
- Working in a team environment, joint problem solving
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Read production work orders, customer orders, purchase orders to determine items to be moved or picked.
- Operate forklift safely observing all safety rules, utilizing horn, and maintaining proper speeds
- Follow the directions of Supervision/Leads
- Able to prioritize tasks and displays a sense of urgency
- Ensure all raw materials are received in utilizing ERP system, validating receipt against packing slip. Placarding each skid and put away into storage location.
- Ensure all stock is rotated in accordance to FIFO (First In/First Out) procedure
- Ensure that all partial items are combined, counted, and marked properly
- Ensure inventory accuracy by properly completing put-away, storage & handling of Finished Goods/Raw Materials
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Preferred experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Other duties as assigned
- Must possess either a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have previous forklift experience (1 year experience preferred)
- Satisfactory completion of internal forklift training program
- Detail oriented with good organization and time management skills
- Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to train in other areas of the plant
- Must be available to work overtime on short notice which may include weekend, evening, or holiday hours

Skills/Competencies- Must be capable of performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division calculations.
- Forklift/Mechanical equipment operation - 95% of the workday
- Requires frequent of sitting, walking, and standing
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
