At Middletown Veterinary Hospital, every paw matters. We’re expanding our Rehabilitation and Aqua Fitness Department and seeking a compassionate, skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to help pets recover mobility, reduce pain, and regain quality of life.
What You’ll Do- Assess patients and develop individualized rehabilitation plans in collaboration with veterinarians.
- Administer therapy techniques including hydrotherapy, massage, exercise, laser, and ultrasound treatments.
- Operate and maintain aquatic equipment, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
- Educate clients on at-home care and promote ongoing wellness programs.
- Maintain accurate treatment and progress records.
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) or equivalent experience.
- Rehab certification (CCRP/CCRVN) preferred — candidates actively pursuing certification encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, mobility, and therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Middletown Veterinary Hospital was established in 1982 and is a large state-of-the-art veterinary facility that offers physical rehabilitation therapy for injured, senior, and post-surgical pets. Our services include laser, underwater treadmill, a large indoor pool, and personalized land exercises using equipment for balance, strengthening, and proprioception.
We are located in Middletown, Delaware near the top of the Chesapeake Bay, Delaware Bay, and Delaware and Maryland beaches. We are a same day trip away from the Poconos, DC, or even NYC.
