Inside Sales Representative

Sunbelt Rentals— the fastest growing rental business in North America—seeks an Inside Sales Representative. The Equipment Rental Specialist is an inside sales role that supports telephone and walk‑in customers with rentals of all types of construction/industrial equipment. This position is the company’s front line of contact with the customer, tasked with understanding equipment needs, negotiating and placing orders, and maintaining a professional, customer‑focused attitude.

• Develop skills for career growth through an outside sales or operational management career track
• Use inside sales or customer service skills for steady hours & potential overtime
• Work with an incredible team of people to make it happen for customers
• Support telephone and walk‑in customers with equipment rentals
• Understand customer equipment needs, negotiate, and place orders
• Execute strong administrative duties to enhance customer satisfaction

• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools & equipment
• Previous equipment rental industry experience preferred
• Strong customer service & telephone skills
• Solid computer and administrative skills
• Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations

Role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.

Base Pay Range: $21.38 - $25.38 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on position, location, education, training, and/or experience.
