Security Dispatcher

Overview

Security Dispatcher at Premier Health Partners. Dispatch security calls, manage logs, control access system, assist patients, visitors, and employees by giving directions over the phone, manage parking and hospital entrances via Matrix card access system.

• Dispatch security calls.
• Complete dispatch log sheets.
• Operate card access system.
• Assist patients, visitors, and employees with directions over the phone.
• Control parking and hospital entrances using the Matrix card access system.

• High School completion / GED.
• Pass Law Enforcement Automated Data System (LEADS) and Computerized Criminal History (CCH) certification requirements within thirty days of employment and maintain certification throughout employment.
• No prior job-related work experience required; preferred experience in law enforcement as dispatcher desirable.
• Computer skills desirable.
• Ability to acquire International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety Basis Training (IHS).
• Ability to acquire Incident Command system (ICS) – IS 100 I.E.B.
• Work under pressure with many interruptions, remain calm, pleasant to the public and facility personnel.

Full-time (80 hours per pay period).

Varies, 12 hour shift.
