We have an opportunity for you! Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an opening for a Diesel Mechanic / Technician at its Middletown, OH, facility.
The Middletown facility produces and distributes Liquid Nitrogen, Oxygen, and Argon as well as bulk Helium and Hydrogen throughout the Midwest. You will report to the Middletown Terminal Supervisor and will be responsible for the maintenance of Company‑owned tractors and trailers.
This role is eligible for our Veteran Apprenticeship Program Benefits- Sign on Bonus: $5,000
- Yearly salary is $69,000+

- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as necessary on over‑the‑road Class A tractors, tanker trailers and tube trailers
- Document/record work performed electronically on computer‑based maintenance system
- Perform road repairs when necessary
- Perform electrical/electronic repairs on tractors and trailers
- Ensure fleet is in compliance with DOT regulations
- Document/record Hazmat and OSHA requirements
- High School diploma/equivalent
- Strong diesel maintenance and repair experience
- Strong mechanical background, with some computer experience/skills
- Electrical troubleshooting skills on 12‑volt DC circuits
- Diesel engine troubleshooting and repair experience
- Welding knowledge and experience preferred but not required
- Self‑motivated and capable of working independently
- Must be able to work overtime depending on business needs
- Stable employment work history
