** About the Role
** Illuminated Integration is seeking a Security Installation Technician to join our growing integrated security team. This role focuses on commercial security systems, including access control, CCTV, and related low-voltage infrastructure.

This is a hands-on field position working on real projects — schools, higher education, corporate, public venues, and specialty facilities.
** What You’ll Be Doing
*** Install, terminate, and test access control systems (panels, readers, door hardware, locks)
* Install and commission CCTV / video surveillance systems
* Pull and terminate low-voltage cabling (CAT6, composite, control wiring)
* Mount cameras, readers, enclosures, and field devices
* Assist with system checkout, testing, and troubleshooting
* Read and work from drawings, plans, and scopes of work
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades on-site
* Maintain clean, professional work spaces and documentation
** What We’re Looking For
*** 2+ years of experience in commercial security or low-voltage installation
* Working knowledge of access control systems, CCTV / IP camera systems, low-voltage cabling, and terminations
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and workmanship
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
* Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and active construction sites
** Nice to Have (Not Required)
*** Experience with enterprise access control platforms
* Camera system commissioning or troubleshooting experience
* Door hardware experience
* Manufacturer certifications
* OSHA training
* Network basics (IP addressing, PoE concepts)
