Candidate is responsible for predictive, preventative, corrective, basic care, and emergency maintenance on a variety of mechanical and systems to ensure safe, efficient and continuous plant production to include:

• Perform and document advanced electrical and mechanical diagnostics and repairs on production equipment and perform and document routine preventative maintenance on production equipment and maintain fluid levels and change filters in machinery, document usage, and monitor inventory
• Operate forklifts and aerial lifts as required, including pre-operational inspection and log
• Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all areas in the facility, maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work area, maintain and document chemical concentration levels in industrial parts washers and maintain non-hazardous waste collection and storage areas to include barrels, tote, solid waste hoppers
• Prepare waste material containers for shipment per EHS guideline, including proper labeling and documentation
• Operate and maintain fluids filtration equipment, clean and wipe down machinery, remove the buildup of process swarf, grit, and fragments in machines and tanks and report defects, damages, and malfunctions of any kind to the supervisor and completion of Machine Tool Services Technician Requirements
• Complying with all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules (OSHA) while working
• Adhere to all EH&S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment
• May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills.

• HS Diploma/GED and 4+ years relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• General mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
• Position requires basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or fluid power systems. Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, and Power Point) required, strong written & verbal communication skills

• Advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Proficient with use of hand tools and equipment
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles
• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work from heights, including ladders and aerial lifts, bo be on your feet for long periods of time, work in awkward positions for extended periods and good manual dexterity
