SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Senior Systems Engineer - Electronic Warfare Prototype / Production
.

Overview

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the integration of various operating systems, application programs and hardware devices. Duties typically include requirements development, drawing reviews, staffing/cost analysis, and scheduling. The engineer works across multiple vertical domains including RF, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, IT, and Test, and is a primary contact for customer interactions. Project management credentials/experience are also desired. Experience in the Electronic Warfare domain is desired but not required.

Qualifications

As a requirement of employment
, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship.

Education: Master s degree (or Doctorate) in a STEM discipline is preferred. In lieu of a master s degree, significant work experience paired with a bachelor s degree in a STEM discipline may be substituted.

Experience: A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.

Security/Clearance: Candidates must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance for the position; applicants must have an active Secret clearance on the date of hire.

Location: Middletown, RI

Travel: 10%

Work Environment & Physical Demands: This position operates in standard Office, Assembly Laboratory, and Aboard Vessel/Shipyard environments. Standard offices and laboratories:
Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting. In shipyards and aboard vessels:
Significant use of hands to operate equipment and tools. Significant lifting 40 lbs. Sitting, stooping, bending, twisting, reaching, lying prone, and squatting on a daily basis. Work is performed in highly variable work conditions to include seasonable variations in weather and temperature. High probability of working in confined spaces where movement is restricted. Dust, noise and constant activity associated with the movements of materials and people, and the fabrication of steel, including welding and the use of overhead cranes/hoists.

Personal Protective Equipment: safety shoes and hard hat required; hearing protection and safety glasses recommended.
