SAIC is seeking an Engineering Team Manager to support multiple projects within the Undersea Warfare and Support team in Middletown, RI. The Electrical Engineering Manager will be responsible for providing overall technical support, ensuring that the engineering team meets the needs of the programs and projects they support, and supporting program management by monitoring program performance. Responsibilities include mentoring and serving as a technical resource for the SAIC engineering team, creating, improving, and championing mission engineering practices, and collaborating on program schedule and budget planning to ensure compliance with SAIC earned value management processes.

The role also involves training the SAIC team and ensuring that system requirements are met.

• Provide engineering management expertise to the program.
• Manage and allocate the EE workforce in support of the program's goals and objectives.
• Implement consistent and industry-standard practices across the different programs.
• Manage direct reports within the electrical engineering team comprising different skill levels in electrical and electronics engineering.
• Report to the Chief Engineer.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and nine (9) years of experience;
  Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and seven (7) years of experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience developing electrical, electronic, or software systems.
• Leadership experience.
• Must be willing/able to obtain a Secret security clearance; active Secret clearance preferred.
