SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified FPGA Signal Processing Developer.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary : SEACORP is seeking a motivated mid to senior level FPGA Signal Processing Developer to join our Electronic Warfare Business Area. Daily work is planned to occur at SEACORP's Middletown, RI campus. Based on candidate’s skills and experience, other work locations are possible. Our ideal candidate will be a "self-starter" equally comfortable working alone or in support of small teams (2-3 individuals).
Applicant will demonstrate eagerness to mentor and be mentored.
Responsibilities include:
- Implement solutions on a variety of FPGA architectures.
- Create FPGA design flow, from specification to implementation and testing.
- Write efficient, modular, and reusable code that meets specified performance and resource constraints.
- Experience with FPGA synthesis, place and route, timing analysis, and verification tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, or Synopsys Synplify.
- Use proficiency in DSP algorithms, architectures, and implementations to create solutions.
- Design and optimize DSP blocks and systems for FPGA platforms.
- Integrate and interface DSP blocks with other components, such as ADCs, DACs, and high-speed I/O interfaces.
- Use understanding of and experience with of Fast of Fourier transforms (FFTs), Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing and Nyquist frequency-division multiplexing in application development.
- Help other engineers grow in their understanding of theory and applications of DSP, such as filtering, modulation, demodulation, equalization, etc.
- Interface with engineering team (e.g. electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, electronics technicians). Review circuit design schematics.
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Software Engineering (or similar).
Experience : 5+ years of relevant work experience.
Ability to get and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance
Location: Middletown, RI
Travel: Quarterly (approximately 4 times a year)
