- West Bromwich £40,000 - £50,000 Basic DOE  Overtime Monday
- Friday 8:30 til 5:30, plus alternate Saturday mornings Overtime available Training and development opportunities Are you a skilled Senior Vehicle Technician who enjoys getting stuck into the mechanical side of the job? Are you confident with timing chains, clutches, engine work and turbos, and looking for a busy workshop where your experience will be valued? We’re recruiting for an established independent automotive business in West Bromwich that is looking to add an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to its growing workshop team.

You’ll be working on a wide variety of makes and models, carrying out servicing, repairs and more complex mechanical work. The workshop already has strong coverage across diagnostics, electrics and routine servicing, so they’re specifically looking for a strong mechanical Technician to complement the existing team. Your duties will include:
Timing chain replacement Clutch replacement Engine repairs and mechanical work Turbo replacement and associated repairs Gearbox and drivetrain work Suspension and brake repairs General servicing and maintenance Mechanical fault-finding Strip-down and repair work Working across a wide variety of makes and models You’ll ideally have extensive experience with:
Timing chains Clutches Engine repairs Turbos Gearboxes Major mechanical repairs This would suit a Technician who has progressed beyond routine servicing and enjoys tackling the bigger jobs that require experience, patience and proper mechanical knowledge. Diagnostic and electrical experience is useful, but this is primarily a mechanical role. Senior Vehicle Technician –
