Tilbury, Essex Salary: £24,000 – £31,000 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are currently seeking an organised and proactive Logistics / Transport Administrator to join our client's fast-paced transport and distribution operation based in Tilbury. Key Responsibilities Supporting the day-to-day operations of the transport department Booking deliveries and collections with customers and suppliers Coordinating vehicle schedules and liaising with drivers Preparing and processing transport documentation (delivery notes, manifests, PODs) Updating internal systems and tracking shipments Handling customer queries and providing status updates Ensuring compliance with company procedures and transport regulations General administrative duties to support the logistics team Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in logistics, transport, or general administration (preferred but not essential) Strong organisational and time management skills Good communication skills, both written and verbal Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and accuracy A proactive, team-oriented approach

Desirable Experience with transport management systems (TMS) Knowledge of UK transport or distribution processes
