2x Shift (Earlies/Lates)

6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm

gap technical are proud to be representing this manufacturing business in their search for an Assistant Engineer / Technician to work at their facility based near Middlewich

• Respond to conveyor system jams and stoppages
• Reset emergency stop buttons as required
• Log issues and complete maintenance records using computerised systems
• Always promote and maintain safe working practices, escalating H&S concerns as needed
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by reporting recurring issues and suggesting solutions
• Ensure high availability of equipment to support warehouse operations
• Conduct routine cleaning of automation equipment in line with hygiene standards

• Basic qualifications & computer literacy.
• Good level of communication.
• Understanding of safe systems of work.
• Experience with conveyor systems
• Experience of planned preventative maintenance programmes.
• Experience with MHE (Material Handling Equipment)/Automation systems and their technical components. (Highly Desirable)
