LGBT Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA) We are looking for a passionate and skilled Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA) to join our team, supporting LGBT survivors of sexual abuse and violence. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to people's lives by providing trauma-informed, empowerment-based, and person-centred support. About the Role As an ISVA, you will work directly with LGBT survivors across London, helping them to feel supported, heard, and empowered in the face of sexual abuse and violence.

You will:
Provide practical and emotional support to survivors, tailored to their needs. Support clients through the criminal justice system, including attending Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs) and court. Act as a trusted point of contact, advocating on behalf of clients with agencies and services. Build strong partnerships with statutory and voluntary organisations to ensure survivors receive joined-up, holistic care. Maintain accurate records, contribute to monitoring and evaluation, and support the development of inclusive, survivor-led services.

About You We're looking for someone who is empathetic, resilient, and committed to supporting LGBT survivors. You'll bring:

Experience of supporting survivors of sexual violence (paid or voluntary). A strong understanding of the experiences and barriers faced by LGBT people. Knowledge of safeguarding best practice for children and adults  ability to manage a caseload, prioritise under pressure, and maintain professional boundaries. A collaborative and solutions-focused approach. Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion. A relevant qualification (e.g. ISVA, IDVA) would be beneficial but is not essential.
