Warehouse Operative

Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client, the main distribution centre for everything for the home, including food!

Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Middlewich.

The rate of pay is:
- Basic rate £12.55 per hour
- Night shift £14.55 per hour,
- Over time £16.55 after 37.5 hours
- Weekend days £13.55 per hour
- Weekend Nights £15.55 per hour

This role offers the following shift patterns:

- Monday to Friday, Rotational 6am to 2pm + 2pm to 10pm
- Saturday + Sunday + 1 Fixed day in the week 6am to 7pm
- Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6am
- Friday, Saturday + Sunday 7pm to 6am

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative you will be picking products to go to our stores, a key part of a colleague's role. You will be trained how to drive safely around our warehouse, on our Mechanical Handling Equipment, called LLOPs.

Once you know how to drive a LLOP, you will be trained on how to pick the product correctly for stores and ensure they are beautifully stacked on a pallet ready to go!

Heavy lifting is involved in this role.

Our Perfect Worker

We are looking for team players who also thrive when working independently. You must be self-motivated, can work at pace, and meet the required standards and targets.

The role can be physically demanding; however, rest assured, it will keep you active.

Although experience is desirable, it is not essential as full training is provided.
