The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan’s state-funded, nationally recognized Pre‑K program for 4‑year‑olds. As a GSRP Aide, you will support the Lead and Associate Teachers in preparing children for Kindergarten and beyond by helping create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment.

As a GSRP Aide, you will:

  • Support classroom routines and help with daily activities, meals, and transitions.
  • Follow licensing, grant, and center guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all children.
  • Assist with classroom setup, organization, and maintaining a clean learning space.
  • Build positive relationships with children and help implement fun, age‑appropriate activities.

  • A high school diploma or GED (early childhood coursework or experience preferred).
  • A passion for helping children learn and grow.
  • Dependability, energy, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
