My Michigan Health, an affiliate of the University of Michigan Health, has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time board certified Cardiovascular Surgeon to join a strong team in Midland, Michigan.

• Call 1:3 with APP First Call

• U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent
• Board eligible or board-certified
• Completed a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Surgery with 5 years of experience
• Must have or be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Michigan and a Controlled Substance License

Searching for two physicians to join very successful Cardiovascular Program in the Mid-Michigan area with the support of Advanced Practice Providers. An extremely busy practice and extensive medical staff demand.

This opportunity is based out of the Heart & Vascular Center, My Michigan Cardiovascular Surgery office on the campus of My Michigan Medical Center Midland in Midland, Michigan.

You would be joining a busy practice that has served mid-Michigan for more than 13 years. A highly skilled, collaborative team of cardiologists, including interventional, heart failure, and EP, as well as dedicated advanced practice providers and support staff. Strong cardiovascular program has 36 providers across the system of which 28 are based in Midland. This is 1 Program with 2 locations, that will produce 450 surgeries and APP’s will be the first call.

This is a hospital employed position. Midland is the corporate base of My Michigan Health. In April of 2016, My Michigan Health was named a national 15 Top Health System by Truven Health Analytics.

This very successful practice offers a full range of Cardiovascular services, from Open Heart Surgery to TAVR. The practice location is conveniently located just steps away from My Michigan Medical Center Midland and an additional location just 20 minutes away at My Michigan Medical Center Midland.
