Overview
On-Site Application Engineer - I-Park le Burgmann is a leading international specialist in industrial sealing technology, combining innovative technologies, digital solutions and a commitment to safe and sustainable industrial systems. This role supports the Service Contract activities and customer-facing execution on site.
Responsibilities- Meet and/or exceed the mutually agreed goals for success with Service. Details will be specific to each Service Contract.
- Coordinate Service Contract activities including follow up of order entry, order tracking and scheduling; review layouts and drawings; act as the primary contact for updates and information flow for Service Contract orders.
- Assist in developing and maintaining sales tools including surveys, reference lists, status updates, presentations, standard proposals, and technical guidelines.
- Maintain sufficient data and report information as requested by the Manager of Business Development.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage the functions within the defined areas of responsibility in an effective and efficient manner.
- Safeguard corporate assets under the individual’s responsibility.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (4 years) from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience.
- 2–5 years’ experience in business with 3 years directly in a related field.
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills.
- Strong self-motivation, willingness to learn, and customer-focused work ethic.
- Adequate systems knowledge to function effectively.
- Demonstrated analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to be an effective team member.
- IBM-compatible PC skills;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Access is a plus.
