My Michigan Health is seeking a Director of Cardiovascular Services to manage Cardiovascular services at all sites and continue to provide award-winning, high-quality care.
This role maintains overall clinical and administrative management of CV Diagnostics and Invasive Imaging finances, rate setting, performance improvement, operational and capital budgeting, short and long range planning, staff and project development, and provides customer service and support for the service lines.
The Director will work in collaboration with the Vice President for new business development for all medical center services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing long range strategic plans, annual operational budgets, and supply and capital acquisition plans for Cardiovascular and Invasive Imaging services.
- Oversight of employee development, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, promotion, and discipline as needed.
- Developing proposals for new services or changes in current services, including financial plans, market plans, and operational plans.
Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in a related healthcare field, with a Master's degree preferred. Three years of clinical experience and five years of management experience in a medical center or similar setting are required. Leadership skills, written and interpersonal skills, and knowledge of basic techniques in financial analysis are necessary.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, and demonstrate competency in Microsoft Windows.
Certifications and licensures required include NIMS IS 100, NIMS IS 200, and NIMS IS 700, with equivalent experience accepted within six months of hire or transfer.
