Cath Lab Tech - Cath Lab Tech

This is a 13-week contract position for a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist. The role involves setting up all radiographic equipment prior to performing angiographic procedures, processing and performing quality control checks on cine radiographic images, and assisting in preparing patients for procedures. The technologist will work closely with other members of the cath lab and Interventional Radiology staff to ensure timely and efficient use of the cardiac cath lab/special procedures.

• Assists in prepping patients, sterile tray setup, post-cath care, and room cleanup.
• Manipulates equipment and sets appropriate techniques on radiographic generators to achieve optimal image quality.
• Operates various electronic equipment including cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation equipment, hemodynamic equipment, pacemakers, and performs oxygen saturation studies and cardiac output measurements.

• Cath Lab Experience - Required
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), ARRT - Required

This position operates on a day shift with 10-hour days, guaranteeing 40 hours per week. The candidate will also be on call for 10 days per month and may be required to work weekends.
