Job Details:

• Perform magnetic resonance imaging on patients utilizing highly technical equipment

• Prepare scan room and patient for examination

• Draw up IV contrast if needed and administer oral contrast if indicated

• Perform warm-up procedure on equipment and enter patient data with appropriate scan parameters

• Interview and screen patients for contraindications prior to MRI study

• Explain procedures and answer patient questions

• Transport patients into exam room and assist with appropriate positioning

• Determine allergies and inject appropriate IV contrast when needed

• Perform scans with attention to appropriate positioning and utilize correct protocols, coils, restraints and materials

• Ensure proper marking with regard to patient orientation

• Enter images with keypad with attention to order of image

• Prepare records for radiologist and ensure all clinical information is complete

• Work every weekend schedule

• No on-call responsibilities

• 2+ years of experience required

• Siemens experience required

• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA)

• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission
