Wound Nurse/Unit Manager – Brittany Manor

Location: Brittany Manor, Saginaw, Michigan.

Pay: RN – $15,000 over the first year (sign‑on bonus).

As the Wound Care Nurse, you will provide primary skin care to guests, emphasizing the treatment and therapy of skin disorders, and assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the guest in accordance with established medical practices, state requirements, and the policies and goals of the facility.

You will join an experienced, hard‑working team that values communication and teamwork.

• Consults with the Director of Nursing and other licensed nursing personnel regarding dermatologic disorders of guests.
• Identifies, manages and treats specific skin disorders, pressure ulcers, and other lesions; consults with the IDT to assess evaluations and assists in planning and developing skin care interventions and maintains established policies and procedures.
• Provides treatment for skin disorders under physician protocols and supervision.
• Ensures residents with decubitus ulcers, vascular ulcers, and other skin conditions receive appropriate treatment and prophylactic care, including daily inspection, turning, activity, nourishment, and incontinence care.

• At least two years experience working in wound care preferred.
• Nurse manager experience preferred.

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with required state licensure.
• Wound Care certification preferred.
