RN - ICU

Night shift: 12 hours from 6:42 PM to 7:12 AM, with a 36-hour guarantee.

This position performs a variety of integrated pre and post-operative critical care functions, intuitively using the nursing process while applying broad nursing knowledge in a caring, concerned manner.

• Assesses patient for physical, emotional, psych/social and family support.
• Organizes and coordinates all aspects of patient care according to the patient’s real and/or perceived needs.
• Evaluates patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge to determine if goals are being met according to the patient’s plan of care or clinical path.
• Consults and collaborates with members of the healthcare team in planning and implementing total patient care for individuals.

• 2+ years of SICU experience
  - Required
• Open Heart trained
  - Required
• BLS (AHA)
  - Required
• ACLS (AHA)
  - Required
• Prior travel assignment history
  - Preferred
• Epic EMR experience
  - Preferred
