American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical ICU (MSICU) night shift position requiring 2+ years of SICU experience and an active MI license.

• Surgical ICU unit within a 324-bed medical center offering Level II trauma care
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts (6:42p-7:12a)
• Three weekend shifts required per 4-week scheduling period (Friday and Saturday)
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active MI RN license required, Nursys or LARA verification must confirm active status
• Compact license not accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of SICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Prior travel assignment history preferred
• Skills checklist pertinent to ICU specialty, current within 1 year, required
• Two completed supervisory reference forms within the last two years required

• Perform integrated pre- and post-operative critical care nursing functions using the nursing process
• Assess patients' physical, emotional, psychological, and social needs along with family support
• Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care based on patient needs
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement total patient care
• Navy blue scrubs required as part of dress code
• Maximum of 5 days RTO may be requested during the assignment
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration
• Local candidates limited to one travel assignment
