FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (Part‑time)

• Midland Public – 600 East Carpenter Street, Midland, MI 48640
• Part‑time schedule. Monday through Friday (hour totals may vary – further details upon interview)

• Fixed Pay Rate: $15.25 per hour

• Perform cashiering duties, including sales transactions, entering sales into the cash register, making change, issuing receipts, and issuing refunds according to standard procedures
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in food preparation, service, and dining areas
• Prepare food items as per approved recipes and production standards (washing, peeling, cutting, weighing, etc.)
• Carry food, equipment, and supplies between stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety requirements
• Store foods in designated areas using proper wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils regularly
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner and resolve customer complaints courteously
• Relay relevant information to supervisors and perform other duties as assigned

• Previous cashier or cook experience preferred
