Outside Sales Account Manager – Fluid Control Systems and Products

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for industrial equipment and hands‑on solutions? Join our team as an Outside Sales Account Manager and take charge of a well‑established territory in Kalamazoo, MI
. You'll be responsible for expanding business through direct sales and service of high‑performance fluid process equipment with full support from a trusted brand and technical team behind you.

Essential Functions
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting both new prospects and existing accounts.
  • Drive full‑cycle sales: from lead qualification and cold calls to product presentations, quoting, and closing deals.
  • Promote and sell a wide range of fluid handling, rotating equipment, pumps, seals
    , and related services.
  • Build lasting customer relationships through regular on‑site visits and expert service.
  • Collaborate with a knowledgeable inside sales and technical support team to exceed customer expectations.
  • Leverage CRM tools and other resources to manage your time, territory, and pipeline effectively.
Experience, Education and Skills
  • High School diploma or GED required; 2- or 4‑year technical/engineering degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of industrial sales experience
    , ideally in fluid handling and rotating equipment
    .
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with a consultative sales approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for on‑site customer visits.
