About the RoleAre you outgoing, knowledgeable, and service-oriented? Do you have a keen eye for kitchen and bath design? Do you have the determination needed to close sales and build lasting relationships? If so, we’d like you to join our team as a Showroom Salesperson.
Responsibilities- Provide expert product selection assistance and design advice to our showroom customers.
- Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction to meet or exceed established sales and gross profit goals, and increase profit sharing.
- Provide hospitality and warmly welcome each customer.
- Articulate your showroom value proposition to engage, teach, and demonstrate value.
- Determine customer needs, direct them to the best products, uncover potential hurdles, and keep the sale moving forward.
- Leverage Hajoca technology to guide product selections, review specifications, pricing, and availability.
- Use sales reports and forecasting tools to meet or exceed established sales targets.
- Enter sales orders and bids, expedite purchases, and stay engaged from start to finish of projects.
- Process showroom sale returns and refund paperwork in accordance with Company policy.
- Keep showroom clean, neat, current, stocked, and safely displayed.
- Join industry associations and attend professional events to stay informed on design trends, new products, and build relationships.
- Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
- Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and management.
- 1+ years of experience in customer service or sales, plumbing showroom sales preferred.
- Knowledge of products sold in the showroom preferred.
- Knowledgeable of kitchen and bath design trends.
- Effective at using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) to communicate, maintain contact files, appointments, and analyze reports.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service and verbal/telephone communication skills.
- Deep product knowledge related to kitchen/bath trends to answer questions and identify upsell/cross‑sell opportunities.
- Capable of overcoming objections by understanding needs, providing solutions, and closing the sale.
- Build influential relationships and trust with key vendor partners.
- Build positive working relationships and inspire teamwork with co‑workers.
- Plan, organize, and multi‑task effectively.
- Learn and operate the computer‑related systems used to process orders.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Perform basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
