Accounts Payable Analyst

Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst reporting to the A/P Manager in Midland, TX. This position will be responsible for all accounts payable administrative functions, including coding invoices, matching purchase orders, obtaining approval, and entering invoices into the accounting system. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and communication skills and be able to contribute expertise while working on a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor
• Assisting with coding high volumes of capital, facility, and G&A invoices; routing invoices through approval workflows
• Ensuring early payment deadlines are met
• Communicating verbally and in writing with AP team members, other departments, and outside vendors
• Maintaining the coding workbook with notes
• Assisting with vendor onboarding and relations
• Researching payment issues and collaborating with the AP Supervisor for resolution
• Handling confidential information appropriately
• Performing other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related experience
• 2+ years of industry experience, preferably in oil & gas accounting at an E&P company
• Knowledge of accounting systems OGSql and Quorum
• Knowledge of Open Invoice
