Position OverviewA growing oilfield services company is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join its team. This is a hands-on accounting role with a strong focus on high-volume invoicing, field ticket processing, accounts payable, and day-to-day accounting support
.
The ideal candidate understands the fast pace of an operational environment and knows how to take billing from field ticket to final invoice
—tracking down missing information, resolving discrepancies, and keeping invoices moving accurately and on time.
- Manage high-volume customer invoicing and billing
- Process and reconcile field tickets from operations through final invoicing
- Review tickets for accurate pricing, documentation, and approvals
- Work directly with field and operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Support accounts payable
, including invoice entry, coding, and reconciliation - Track outstanding tickets and unbilled activity
- Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
- Maintain accurate accounting and billing records
- Assist with reconciliations and general accounting responsibilities
- Support additional accounting projects as needed
- Previous accounting experience with a strong background in invoicing, billing, and/or field ticket processing
- Experience managing a high volume of invoices or tickets
- Net Suite experience is a plus
- Oilfield services, oil & gas, construction, transportation, or other field-service industry experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of AP and general accounting processes
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work closely with both accounting and field operations
- Must be able to work on-site five days per week
$60,000–$75,000 annually, depending on experience
