NGSG is seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Specialist responsible for supporting inbound and outbound movement of parts to support internal field operations. Key responsibilities include receiving, stocking, identification, and delivery of inventory parts. The role requires daily use of warehouse management systems and regular coordination with field service to ensure efficient supply chain operations. Additionally, the Warehouse Specialist will champion service excellence, HSE policies and standards, and drive continuous improvement.
EssentialJob Functions
- Champion and adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and initiatives.
- Generate requisitions to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Pick up and deliver parts and supplies as needed.
- Perform inventory counts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Ship and receive parts using warehouse technology, including computer software and barcode scanners.
- Process order requests from field service technicians via phone and email.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure safe operation.
- Track outstanding core parts and return cores to vendors for credit.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Coordinate inventory transfers between internal warehouse locations.
- Maintain clean, organized warehouse and field storage areas with accurate bin assignments, labeling, and ERP/WMS records.
- Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
- Assist with reconciliation of inventory counts for internal and external sites.
- Support Warehouse Supervisors with key initiatives and operational tasks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements Qualifications- Minimum of 1 year of experience in field service, supply chain, procurement, or warehouse management; experience with engine and compressor components used in natural gas compressors is preferred.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Preferred: APICS/ISM or accredited purchasing certifications, Lean/Six Sigma experience, or demonstrated process improvement background.
- Experience with purchasing, online requisitioning, spend management, and inventory systems is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and field personnel.
- Positive “can-do” attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective time-management skills and demonstrated ethical behavior.
- Ability to work occasional weekends or after‑hours as needed.
- Fluency in English required; bilingual skills are a plus.
