Job Summary:
Successfully instruct designated electrical courses and assist with the creation of course curriculum.
- Minimum of three years of field experience as an electrician
- Active Electricians License through an appropriate State agency
- Licensed Journeyman
- OSHA certification
- Must be available to instruct in afternoons or evenings
- Master Electrician
- Prior classroom or on-the-job teaching experience
- Prepare and communicate clear educational objectives while presenting current and accurate course content to the student
- Maintain a professional teaching environment
- Communicate with Training Coordinator regarding room, media and copy needs
- Maintain control of purchased supplies for class
- Provide students with evaluation forms for completion
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to safely use power tools, hand tools, and other equipment
- Frequently moves equipment or paperwork weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Use of manual dexterity
- Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
- The person in this position frequently communicates with others; must be able to exchange accurate information
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move from office to classroom
- Office and classroom setting
- Duties indoors and some outdoors
- Ability to work extended hours and attend Midland College or community events

Min Salary $40.00 per hour
Max Salary $40.00 per hour
