CHILDREN’S MINISTRY COORDINATOR
PRINCIPLE FUNCTIONS:
The Children’s Ministry Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the entire children’s ministry, from birth through 6th grade, to ensure a smooth operation, safe and effective program. The coordinator will recruit and train workers/leaders who will touch children’s lives with God’s love, teach them God’s Word and provide fellowship with God’s people; laying a foundation that will keep children interested in the things of God and involved in the church.
- Obtain employment applications for workers and signed consent forms for criminal background checks for workers/leaders.
- Facilitate completion of a state approved child abuse safety training for all workers/leaders.
- Maintain records in confidential locked file for all workers/leaders.
PT position, salary based on experience, $20 - $30,000 per year
