Science Superstar & Middle School Mastermind

Science Teacher + Another Curriculum Area

Are you part educator, part mad scientist, and the kind of person who gets genuinely excited about a perfectly balanced chemical equation?

Balaklava High School wants YOU!

We're searching for a passionate Science teacher (with another curriculum area up their lab coat sleeve) to join our fantastic team.

Just 55 minutes from Adelaide, we've got brilliant students, supportive colleagues and modern facilities ? the perfect laboratory for your next teaching adventure!

If you can make cells as fascinating as Sheldon's whiteboard in The Big Bang Theory, test hypotheses like Myth Busters, explore the unknown like Stranger Things, and teach genetics without accidentally creating Jurassic Park... you might just be our next Science superstar!

? Why Balaklava High?

• ? Curious students
• ? A supportive team with great chemistry
• ? Modern facilities and hands-on learning opportunities
• ? Leadership that champions innovation and professional growth
• ? Country lifestyle ? fresh air, no traffic and genuine community spirit
• You'll Be...
• Bringing Science to life through experiments, discovery and the occasional controlled explosion (strictly metaphorical, WHS!)
• Inspiring curious minds, critical thinkers and future scientists
• Making biology, chemistry and physics more exciting than watching paint dry (which, technically, is chemistry!)
• Building positive relationships and inclusive learning environments

Whether you're a seasoned scientist or a fresh graduate ready to unleash your inner Bill Nye, we've got the perfect formula for your next career move!

• Lab coat on. ? Goggles ready. ? Bunsen burner lit (safely!).

Warning:
Side effects may include excessive enthusiasm, professional growth and uncontrollable science puns.
