Flight Assurance Associate Manufacturing Engineer- Midland, TX

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer:
Flight Assurance to join a New Space satellite manufacturing company located in Midland, TX through 100% onsite work. The Associate Manufacturing Engineer:
Flight Assurance will conduct quality engineering activities focused on inspections, validation, and mission assurance for high-volume satellite production.

• Develop and execute quality control processes to ensure safety, performance, and mission reliability of satellite components.
• Perform inspections and audits on assemblies and subsystems in cleanroom environments.
• Support testing activities (vibration, thermal vacuum) and assist with integration and compliance documentation.
• Analyze test data, identify nonconformance's, and contribute to root‑cause investigations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve processes and adapt to rapid production scaling (up to 6 satellites/month).

• Experience:
  
  0–3 years (recent graduates or interns encouraged).
• Skills:
  
  Hands‑on experience with quality/validation processes, FEA/simulations, CAD tools (Solid Works, ANSYS), and compliance documentation.
• Preferred:
  Exposure to high‑volume manufacturing, material analysis, and process optimization.
• Education:
  
  BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Eligibility:
  Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

• Salary: $85,000/ year depending on experience
