Turnaround & Inspection Engineer – Relocate to Saudi Arabia
This position requires full relocation to Saudi Arabia. It is a permanent full‑time expatriate relocation package.
Job OverviewWe are seeking a Turnaround & Inspection Engineer to join the Riyas NGL Fractionation Maintenance Division (RNGLFMD) of Riyas NGL Fractionation Department (RNGLFD).
RNGLFMD is responsible for two NGL Fractionation trains, each designed to process 255 MBOD (242.25 MBCD). Each train includes fractionation units, C3 & C4 treatment, C3 & C4 dehydration, and propane refrigeration. Common facilities include feed and product surge storage, chemicals storage, and utilities such as boilers, steam and condensate recovery, utility water, instrument air and nitrogen systems, machinery cooling water, drainage, and flare systems.
Some systems (e.g., steam headers, flare headers, product storage) have been pre‑invested for the future train.
- Develop annual Turnaround & Inspection plan for all minor and major T&I with accurate budgeting.
- Issue detailed post Turnaround & Inspection (T&I) reports covering all events, findings, costs, and scheduling performance, including lessons learned.
- Coordinate maintenance programs with unit users to determine relative priorities and ensure on‑time completion of work in critical operating facilities with available workforce.
- Assign maintenance manpower within the assigned area to meet daily changes in operating requirements and priorities.
- Recommend special work schedules, overtime, or contractor participation to handle unusual or emergency situations.
- Plan assigned T&I field‑wide, analyze and sequence all work requests; estimate required manpower, justifying, when necessary, requests for additional manpower, overtime, or extension of unit downtime.
- Assure all material and equipment details are available at the jobsite. On major T&I, may direct one or more Maintenance Engineers during this phase of the work.
- Report to the concerned Maintenance Supervisor on quality and quantity of workmanship and adherence to standards by Maintenance Engineers and craftsmen within assigned areas; recommend improved work methods.
- Report deviations from approved schedules and assist in correction.
- Review project proposals to ensure maintenance aspects are considered in final design.
- Coordinate maintenance work between Maintenance Divisions when services from multiple divisions are required.
- Perform special assignments as directed, utilizing engineering knowledge and experience, including digital maintenance engineering tasks such as real‑time process control analysis and hardware problem resolution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Turnaround and Inspection (T&I) of gas plants.
- Demonstrated experience in Primavera P6 professional software, PMI‑Scheduling (or equivalent).
- Preferred PMI‑PMP certificate (or equivalent).
- Certified Cost Professional (CCP) certification is preferred.
