Webuild Staffing website) is actively seeking an experienced Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), Project Manager to take a leadership role in directing oil and gas, power, and civil / utility development - land survey projects throughout the Midland, Texas marketplace.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of direct experience in land surveying, focusing on land development, construction staking, and grading projects. This role requires managing in-office and field surveying tasks, including preparing project plans, budgets, timelines and detailed information for crews engaged in a range of projects on commercial, industrial and municipal environments.
Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation of critical survey documents, including boundary surveys, record plats, easements, construction stakeouts, as-builts, ALTA surveys, and topographical surveys.
- Set up and guide field crews in the field to ensure accurate data collection, analyze field data, and draft survey reports.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure projects meet client specifications and are completed within budget and timelines and proposal specifications.
- Bachelor's Degree in Geomatics or a related field.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) registration in the State of Texas.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information to clients and team members.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and with Trimble, Total Station equipment.
