Environmental Team Leader – Assessment & Remediation

What you’ll do:

• Client & Customer Management:
  Build and manage key client relationships, oversee relationship management with transactional clients.
• Solutions Analysis:
  Analyze problems and issues to find the best technical or professional solutions.
• Simulation and Modeling:
  Conduct comprehensive simulations and modeling to test performance of different solutions.
• Insights and Reporting:
  Prepare and coordinate various data and analytics reports.
• Bid and Proposal Response:
  Draft and complete proposals and fulfill all process requirements for bid solicitations, RFPs and tenders.
• Project Management:
  Deliver small- or medium-scale projects within an established program management plan.
• Community of Practice Management:
  Participate in and contribute to a community of practice in a defined area of expertise.
• Health, Safety, and Environment:
  Monitor and review performance against HSE KPIs and patterns of behavior; take action to improve performance and resolve noncompliance.
• Personal Capability Building:
  Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities, formal and informal training, coaching, and gaining external professional accreditation where relevant.
• Analysis of “As Is” and “To Be”:
  Document process changes required to migrate to the “to be” capability.
• Lead a high-functioning team specializing in contaminated sites investigation and remediation.

Who we’re looking for (Qualifications):

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s or higher degree in Applied Science (Engineering, Geology, or Science).
• Experience (10+ years):
  Substantial experience in contaminated site investigation and remediation; at least 6–10 years of work experience; 13 months–3 years of managerial experience.
• Technical expertise:
  In-depth knowledge of Texas and New Mexico regulatory environment (RRC, TCEQ, NMOCD, NMED, NM SLO) and U.S. EPA and state environmental regulations. Ability to prepare regulatory work plans, reports, and site characterization, hydrogeologic analysis and multimedia remedial technologies.
• Travel:
  Ability to travel short durations including overnight stays.
• Professional designation/license (Colorado REP, Engineer, Geologist, etc.) a plus.
• OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification.
