General Summary
Under general supervision, but in accordance with established policies and procedures, this position must be familiar with all aspects of the department, specifically with the details of the note mechanics.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties- Responsible for staying up to date on and complying with all applicable banking laws and regulations as well as CNB policies and procedures.
- Log new commercial, consumer, agriculture, and letters of credit loans for processing and assign them to a processor.
- Review loan documentation for consumer/commercial/agriculture/notes, modifications, renewals, and letters of credit in process.
- Review and prepare signed loan documentation and tickets to submit for booking.
- Process new loans and renewals as necessary.
- Process loan payments as necessary.
- Process extensions and modifications on notes.
- File various documents as necessary.
- Respond to inquiries from co-workers, loan Officers and loan Assistants.
- Assist others in department as needed, i.e., dual Control, pull files.
- Assist manager/supervisor with any special projects as requested.
- Review oil & gas loans as necessary.
- Review information from files in order to ensure that all terms are in compliance with CNB loan Policies.
- Prepare loan summary reports.
- Advise credit personnel of exceptions, observations, or compliance violations.
- Understand how to prioritize post-closing tasks.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Work cooperatively with others.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.
Skills and Abilities
Required
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook as well as the capacity to learn and efficiently utilize various other computer programs.
- Ability to multitask and provide quality work within specific time frames.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and capability in handling sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
- Busy environment with varied noise and at times of heavy distraction.
- Indoor, in an office environment, with a typical 40-hour workweek.
- Considerable effort and eyestrain from continuous computer use.
- Occasionally move office equipment, and files weighing 10+ pounds.
- Constantly operates a computer, a calculator, copy machine, printer, and other office equipment.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time to process work and assist customers.
