CT Technologist – (Bonus Up to $45,000)
Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking a qualified CT Technologist. This position offers a competitive bonus up to $45,000 for qualified new hires.
OverviewThe RT(R) focuses on patient safety, operating within legal scope, and ensuring quality care. The technologist uses approved equipment and adheres to the institution’s policies.
Shift & ScheduleFull-time & PRN:
All shifts available.
- Practices technology founded upon theoretical knowledge and concepts, uses equipment and accessories consistent with the purposes for which they were designed, and employs procedures and techniques appropriately
- Assesses situations; exercises care, discretion, and judgment; assumes responsibility for professional decisions; and acts in the best interest of the patient.
- Acts as an agent through observation and communication to obtain pertinent information for the physician to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient and recognizes that interpretation and diagnosis are outside the scope of practice for the profession.
- The radiologic technologist uses equipment and accessories, employs techniques and procedures, performs services in accordance with an accepted standard of practice, and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self, and other members of the healthcare team.
- The Radiology Career Ladder is designed to recognize professional excellence; it outlines the process for evaluating employee performance, maintaining current job level, and advancing or adjusting levels as needed.
- Current State of Texas License as a Radiology Technologist.
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Applied Science – Radiology or trained in a hospital-based program (AMA approved).
- ARRT (R), (CT) registered or eligible.
- Must obtain ARRT (CT) within 12 months of being registry eligible.
- Successful completion of cross-sectional anatomy.
- Must have 1 year of experience as a diagnostic technologist.
- Total Joint & Spine Center initial and annual education: 1.5 hours.
- The individual must perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily.

- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak, and hear. Lifting is limited to 35 lbs for clinical staff and 50 lbs for non‑clinical staff.
- Use an assisted‑lift device or assistance for lifts over these limits.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Bonus is only applicable to new hires. Not eligible for current employees or returning employees within one year of separation. Bonus is not eligible if hired through a staffing agency or if sponsorship is required.
