Job Details – Mammography Tech Travel Job in Midland, TX

• Location: Midland, TX 79701 (West Texas healthcare jobs)
• Facility: The Breast Center – Technologist Mammo II
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 2/2/2026 – End: 5/4/2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts/week (9:00am – 6:00pm, 1-hour lunch)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2310-$2480
• Saturday Coverage: Occasional, 8:00am – 2:00pm
• No On-Call Required
• Orientation: 16 hours

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• Active Texas Radiology license (pending accepted, must be active before start)
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (M), BLS
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Previous travel healthcare experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Ability to pass on-site drug screening

Mammography Tech Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms, including 3-D and digital mammography
• Conduct procedures such as stereotactic biopsy, needle localizations, and fine needle aspirations
• Ensure radiation safety and digital quality assurance procedures are followed
• Provide clinical support for outpatient populations (adults and geriatrics)
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner electronic medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care
• Support Saturday coverage as needed and stay until 7pm 1-2 times per month
