This is a full-time, on-site role located in Midland, TX, for a Safety Trainer at Well Solutions LLC. The Safety Trainer will be responsible for delivering safety training sessions for employees and contractors, developing and improving current training programs, and updating and maintaining training records. Collaborating with team members, the Safety Trainer will play a key role in promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement in workplace practices.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Associates Degree or higher preferred.
- 1-year industry experience
- Experience with H2S training & Respirator Fit Testing a plus
- Ability to speak in front of large groups
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured by company policy
- Current professional and training certifications preferred (OSHA, Veriforce, HSI, etc.)
- Experienced Equipment Trainer (Forklift/Aerial Left/ etc.)
- Ability to report to work for differing shifts or be called-in when needed.
- Strong organizational and document management skills a must.
- Must understand and follow all applicable regulations and safety policies
- Expertise in Health & Safety practices and standards, including knowledge of industry-specific guidelines
- Strong Communication and Training skills to effectively educate and guide diverse audiences
- Proficiency in recordkeeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
