Travel Ultrasound Technologist​/Sonographer - Sonography​/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring a General Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and ARDMS certification for a night shift assignment.

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• ARDMS certification required; ARDMS AB, OB/GYN, and PS preferred
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Experience with OB/GYN studies including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester imaging, fetal anatomical survey, multiple pregnancy, placenta previa, and umbilical cord Doppler preferred
• General ultrasound skills including abdominal aorta, appendix, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, spleen, and pediatric abdomen/pelvis
• Vascular ultrasound skills including aorta, renal/pelvis, bladder, hernia, ovaries, prostate, uterus, and vaginal studies
• Small parts imaging experience including superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, and thyroid
• Experience with transplant studies of liver and renal systems
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Experience assisting with paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures

• Rotating night shift, 3x12 hours, Friday through Sunday, 19:00-7:30
• Performs general ultrasound, OB/GYN, and vascular studies across adult and pediatric populations
• Covers work settings including Emergency Department, High Risk OB, ICU, Maternal Fetal Medicine, NICU, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and PICU
• Call may be required
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Uses Samsung ultrasound equipment and PACS system
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging across OB/GYN, general abdominal, vascular, and small parts studies
• Support high-risk obstetric and maternal fetal medicine cases
• Some holiday coverage expected
• RTO must be submitted with application
• Accepts candidates living within 50 miles of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Onsite drug screen required upon arrival, including marijuana testing
