Designs, installs, monitors, troubleshoots, and repairs servers, network devices, LAN, and WAN. Works with the network security team using intrusion detection and prevention technologies. Installs and maintains servers, storage devices, routers, firewalls, and switches. Provides first‑level support to Division LAN managers and infrastructure support personnel. Travels to field offices for special projects as needed.

• Administrative and technical work related to the operation of the Division infrastructure, including network, servers, and storage devices.
• Responsible for LAN/WAN functions and support including local and wide‑area networks, routers, switches, and telecommunications equipment.
• Acquire, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, systems, routers, and switches.
• Work with Division support personnel to prevent and resolve technical problems.
• IP internetworking design.
• Install, set up, manage, and troubleshoot servers, including virtual machines.
• Install, set up, manage, and troubleshoot network disk arrays and storage devices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Five years of LAN/WAN administration experience.
• CCNA certification.
• CCNP certification.
• Good knowledge of Cisco equipment.
• Good knowledge of VOIP technologies.
• Good knowledge of VPN solutions.
• Good knowledge of all routing protocols.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication skills.

• Travels 30% of the time to support divisions as needed.
• Willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
• Required to be on call 24/7.
